Born out of a passion for great craftsmanship and love of sustainable design, Objekt Bespoke brings style, luxury and warmth to any space.  Individually designed, Objekt’s furniture ranges from bespoke, commissioned designs to functional contemporary pieces created to enhance living spaces through the structural beauty of stone and steel, the living warmth of natural wood and the liquid harmony in its rivers of resin.

JC Kotze, the mind behind Objekt founded the company in an effort to offer a range of unique wood, resin and steel pieces to interior designers, architects and customers who appreciate high quality.  Pieces are crafted using a range of timber, such as Wild Olive, Blackwood, American Walnut or Kiaat.  

 

Our customers love how distinctly unique each piece is and each piece tells a story. 

 

On custom projects, we collaborate closely with our customers and often work from sketches, drawings or pictures that they provide. For one customer, we created a beautiful outside dining table from the parquet flooring of the old 1950s Rondebosch house they were renovating using parquet blocks, black resin and steel.  The end product weighed over 80kgs.

By embracing the wood’s natural contours and experimenting with different resin pigments, each piece is handmade in Hout Bay, Cape Town.
